You switch to to english the other side will speak in Bihari English with Hindi interspersed in between. If Mittal can not arrange for my language I do not know his Hindi which he wants to force down my gullet. Then he has a pickpocketing service where he subscribes me to matrimonials, horoscope, third class jokes and deducts money directly from my prepaid subsciption without even asking me. I am expected to call the bozos at customer care to deactivate them and fight tooth and nail to get back the robbed money. No.9810670505. Till June 09 it was a Post Paid Connection and owing to the cheating of the Airtel at various levels and untrue promisses which were never fulfilled, I converted the above no. to a Prepaid one in June 09. They gave me a new simcard and the services restored after clearing of my dues of Post Paid billing. Two days back I got a message from ADAirtel that during verification they did not confirm my address and thus they were constrained to stop the services provided to me. They disallowed outgoing calls on my phone giving reason of govt regulations. <br />While doing that they did not say anything on refund of the balance amount held in that simcard a/c.<br />However, I wrote a letter to them and handed over the same to their retail counter requesting them to refund the balance amount at once and stop the already blocked services.<br />The person on counter deliberately made me to wait for over an hour and I could make out that he was hesitant to give an acknowledgement to the receipt of my letter in this regard. Later he asked me to leave the letter with him with a promiss to get the verification confirmed and the services restored sooner.<br />After 3 hrs I got a call from the Airtel getting confirmation of my address. And thereafter the result is that I am being told that the no. I am trying to contact does not exist. Whereas on other service providers telephones the same no. is OK.<br />What lot of id.....ts have you gathered Mr Sunil Mittal ? I've tried calling the 800 number listed on their web-site. Man, I tell the guy I'm calling from Chennai and he asks me which state Chennai is in! Since then I've called that number a few times to get the phone number to their Adyar center - call center is super efficient, they are not able to provide this information to a customer who is ready to buy their service. Thinking what would happen once you become a customer... and call them expecting some answers.
